Big Days

This group of digital photographs is my attempt at re-creating my personal feelings of melancholy at the end of each day. My combination of photographing city wind-downs, and expressive portraits is to convey my personal sense of disappointment, seldom, and unmet expectations that I feel almost at the end of each day. I have taken photos that were taken at a specific time, directed my lighting, and heightened the shadows to really express these emotions through these photographs.
